I don't think my original posting made it through so I'll try one more time... I'm heading out to the Bay Area at the end of the week and I was wondering what would be some IDM friendly record stores to check out. Actually, good record stores in general would be nice. I've been to Amoeba, Rasputins and some other store I don't remember the name of in Berkley. Also any clubs/happenings I should check out while I'm there? thanks Howie

Hey, I'm going there too! I'm going to be in San Fransisco this weekend. I have just about everything I want record wise so what I'm looking for is shops with top used sections where trainspotting gems may occasionally turn up. If anyone wants to hook up and do a bit of shoping this weekend drop me some mail. cheers, _____ / ,-,_) /,_) (/ RESH Live & Direct from the G-Spot, Orange County, California, USA http://www1.linkonline.net/fresh/fresh.htm

Looks like we'll all be kicking and screaming over the good stuff, as I too (along with some friends down from Seattle) will be venturing the 40 minutes to SF for some insane used bin searchings... Drop Beat in Oakland sounds pretty good (never been there...) or Telegraph St. in Berekely (we'll I'll be mostly)... as for actually IN SF, ? Couldn't tell you.... np: gentle people journey __________________________________________ sfwd@sonic.net LToN DiY Noise.Ambient.Techno.Industrial HomeRecordings & Such 4 Cheap ($3) http://www.sonic.net/~brap/

Anything new with prototype 909? I just love their unique completly analogue and live sound. I have their CD Acid Technology and Ive seen their live album. But I heard a rumor that they have a newer album out. Can anyone confirm this? thanks ....__Filip Jach__.... http://www.geocities.com/Area51/9695/ . . ....__Clear Ink__.... http://www.clearink.com 2540 Camino Diablo, Suite 203 Walnut Creek, CA 94596 510.280.2334

Actually try the Trance and Jungle Factory off of telegraph. They have mostly records but some good mix tapes and CD's. ....__The Kemical Kidd__..... . ...._kemkidd@clearink.com_... . http://www.geocities.com/Area51/9696/
