you don't know what you don't know.

although "insert another data disk" is a slammin bassinyoface track, the speculation that the ectomorphic ones are one and the same as the bubble jumpers is basically unfounded and was beat to the ground on 313 when ectomorph first up-periscoped a couple of years ago.. i'm not sure BMG subscribes to this list, but he probably would set you straight from a first hand basis if you asked him. peeeeeeceout, Jeff Davis <pHlow> ____--~~~~~~vvvv~~~~ oooo812.831.7846 jjdavis@xnet.com____---- ( ( ( vvvv ~~~~~~ooooooooooooo ___----( ( \ \ \ \ \ vvv ooooooooooooooooooo ____---- ( \ \ \ \ \ \ \ http://www.xnet.com/~jjdavis/

According to more source in Detroit( who will remain anonymous, but shall we say is rather tight with artists in question) Drexciya, Dopplereffect, Ectomorph, and Flexitone are all basically the brainchild of ONE person. Yes, a few of the projects have another person helping out when on tour or giging, but basically the brain and musical direction is controlled by ONE man. Synaptic Records (Rick and Ben) 608 S. Broadway Denver, CO 80209 (303) 722-9428 (phone) (303) 722-9540 (fax) synaptic@eazy.net www.eazy.net/synaptic-records/

Ectomorph is one of the guys from Drexciya (can't remember his name right now - James maybe? Nahh.) and a guy called Brendan Gillen who worked at Record Time in Detroit. I.

That's a very drastic oversimplification of a pretty complex series of relationships, rivalries, paranoias, and label interactions. And Ectomorph still isn't Drexciya. -d.w.
