Copyright this, Warp that. Yawn. How about:
Insync vs Mysteron: Android Architect. Some people talked about this album a
while back maybe, and Muzik loved it, so they're not totally unsung :P It's
eleven brilliant tracks, with shades of Black Dog in their more trancey moods
- lots of percolating, ever-stretching beats and well-crafted minimal
melodies. I'm sure others can come up with better references than BDP perhaps.
And the last track is ever so wonderfully Colourbox-y. (And how I miss the
Young brothers.)
Also the Death in Vegas album, Dead Elvis, is a great listenable album weeks
after my first hearing it. What gets to me the most is how atmospheric it is -
not in the bird-noises, drifting-in-oceans kind of way, but similar to how
each of the old New Order albums could be described as having its unique
atmosphere, its mood and sound.

When 'Clerks' happened, I thought it would be a good idea to insure further
work by maintaining that it was the first part of a trilogy. It seemed to work
for George Lucas. // Kevin Smith
