I asked about a month ago for dub references... (sorry if you diodnt like that thread!) I was wondering if anyone has heard that Lee Scratch Perry set arkology?... and if anyone can tell if its worth it? thanks Ian in winnipeg ( that city that is flooding this week,yah know?) Um, I know this isn't idm, but I figger some of y'all might know. Unfortunately, I haven't heard it, it was supposed to come out in the UK Monday (no release planned for outside of the UK, I've heard), but I haven't been able to find it for ordering anyplace on the web yet. So can any of the UK contingent verify that it's out? I'd say that it's definitely worth getting, even if I haven't heard any of it yet - hell, it's Scratch and the Black Ark! Can't get much better..... cya brian

i just got a press release from Island (US) about their spring/summer release schedule, and it refers to a Lee Scratch Perry "3CD Boxset/40th Anniversary" record being released in june from Island Black Music. is this the arkology set? jeff

Bummer - I heard April 28, then May, and now June. :-( Hope it doesn't end up like J.D. Salinger's new book (Jan 97, then March, then June, now December 97)..... cya brian
