you mean, but I don't remeber that beat being used. I will say though the
particular drum loop in question has been used a plethera of times by the
likes of MBM, Disposable Heroes, NIN, (you get the idea, a TON). It's one
of the I'd say 20 or so staple drum loops for the type of music we listen
to (ie the amen, the many James Brown sound bytes etc). So I guess
Squarepusher is just doing his interpretation (just as MBM et al) of this
loop. I wouldn't say the song sounds a lot like MBM but I could see why
people might think so. It's all the same to me- kick ass programming...
