They started _before_ 8:00. "Secrets", "Blue Room", and "Asylum" were just
thrown away ... the doors were still open, people milling about, nobody
knew what was going on. Ridiculous. Fortunately, the next track was
"Outlands", which tore it up and was the highlight of the set, followed by
an industrial version of "Delta".

They're a rock band.

I think they alternated ... One night Chems first, next night Orb first.
Maybe not ... if it was always the Orb opening, that seems like _really_
bad planning to me.

It was good ... good visuals & content, nice crowd, some excellent new
mixes ... they could have played more old stuff. They were much more
professional than the Chems. Anyone know what happened to the bassist and
drummer, though?

Amen to that. It was too loud at the front of the hall, and at the back
all you got was slapback.

Nope.

Yeah -- it was a slow set, but I never thought I could dance that hard to
90 bpm. More danceable than the Chems in most places, actually. Pretty
impressive.

Some of their beats in the first few songs _rocked_hard_, but then they
just lost it with some mediocre trance and nonsense. Too loud, too much
panning, and I can think of lots of folks who do the same thing but better.
"Chemical Beats" was the shit in its glory day, but there it was almost
embarrassing. I like the Chems just fine, mind you, but it doesn't look
like they know their own strengths.

Yep; Hardkiss Bros.
