No idea if this actually is a topic for this list, but I was wondering something about Mininial Man members... I noticed that the SF Global Communications show this weekend listed various people who had been part of MM (and apperarently EON, though I've never heard EON)... I have a few old MM records, which I love and was wondering if the members (appearently now split up on their own) now make electronic tunes? Any info would be greatly appreciated! (now I just wish I could actually SEE the show...) __________________________________________ sfwd@sonic.net LToN DiY Noise.Ambient.Techno.Industrial HomeRecordings & Such 4 Cheap ($3) http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ (add your wasted time to our catalog)

EON is Ian Loveday... and Minimal Man is one of the names used by Loveday when working with Peter "Baby" Ford. no relation to the old MM... afaik. this Minimal Man records truly brilliant groove-heavy minimal (what else?!) techno (in a Mark Broom style, but lighter and more subtly funky) for Ford's Trelik label. Minimal Man might also record for Ford's Ifach label as well. there's an EXCELLENT compilation of Ford/Loveday tracks (including one by Vulva's DEEPAH alias, and a Minimal Man remix by none other than Mark "Voyectra" Broom himself) on the _Trelik, Volume 1_ CD. i really can't recommend this record highly enough!
