hi. anybody have the skinny on slim? I just got the latest Em:t release (Slim-0097) and like usual, it is shrouded in the usual Em:t-type mystery except for the fact that Miasma produced-arranged. I'm posting here because a quick listen yesteday when I got the CD reveled it to be quite beaty, funky dancy, although i didn't get all the way through. If the rest of the CD follows Em:t's past tendencies, i didn't get to the beatless, floaty part. More vocals than in past Em:t releases too. As others have said, many of the Em:t series releases are some of both (ambient and idm). so, does anybody have any background, inside stuff etc. on this slim personage? is this really miasma, since they do just about everything on this cd. did they just decide to put out a dance record? I'm a fan of the series. I haven't fallen in love with every release so far, but i like them all enough to fall for the cool paper "jewel boxes" with animules on them. for those who are into collecting animal pictures, the slim cd has a rather coy-looking flamingo on it, ruffling his feathers! thanks, ra
