i just went and did a little double checking. DJ Food's "jazz brakes vol 4" says "produced by coldcut, in association with pc". all the credits for the dj food tracks on the various compilations list more/black with the occasional carpenter. so i'm pretty sure that dj food is just another coldcut alias. Yeah I saw DJ Food at a small rekkid shop in Seattle - great cos I was able to stand right next to the decks. PC spends more time triggering samples on his laptop PC than on the wheels of steel - I figured that's where he got his nickname. Maybe Black & More give them access to their sample library, or give them feedback or produce or something. I'm sure the whole Ninja Tune posse is pretty tight, but my guess is that PC & Kev do most of the work. BTW I saw Funki Porcini do a set in the same store. He'd play a cool d&b track, then a silly rollerskating organ track, everyone would leave, he'd play some more d&b, we'd go back in, he'd dig up another organ track, we'd leave again, so on and so forth. It was hilarious. I asked him about what he was playing, he said "Uh, I don't know what it's called or who it's by - it's just some white label I like". Che
