I picked up the pet shop boys single for "se' a veda e"(sp?) One of the b-sides was called "betrayed". This was by far the most beautiful and well produced example of a pop drum and bass song. Neil tennants vocals fit well with the breaks and beats of the song. I urge everyone to at least listen to this song... it's well worth it. thanks, b.

I'm a sucker for pop, so's I buy everything the PSB put out. What made this track is that it uses sped-up breakbeats, but doesn't sound drumNbassish because they obviously haven't listened to much drumNbass, they just got the gist of dNb w/o the cliches. Of course it's not authentic dNb, not even close, but that's its strength. I'd say EBTG's "Before Today" is another top pop dNb track. Especially the way the quirky synth melody works w/ the fast tempo. Be sure to check out the new single. Che

maybe the pet shop boys "drum n bass" attempt is really just another blow back to 1990 and 1991 speedy break beats... I wouldn't give the psb credit for too much musical innovation.
