I recall seeing a new release from Deadly Avenger, "Coney Island Baby" on the latest from Modern Music. Anyone have a brief review on this? I have a 12" from them on DC that is excellent. I just picked it up on Saturday. First impressions are definately positive. It seems to be3 J. Saul Kane's downtempo jazzy hip hop project. It is a double 12 with one track on each side. It does seem to have a bit of a disco influence. It's definately lighter than the Depth Charge stuff And worhty of picking up, if for no other reason, just for the cover. Not really ground breaking stuff, but certainly worth a listen. ----Campion
