Warp Records are trying to open a branch in North America, and are in the
final stages of this development.... this is why TVT has been forced to
hold off on the domestic releases of Autechre's new one, and the
Squarepusher. It's uncertain whether or not Warp will be successful, and
TVT may end up continuing their cross-atlantic relationship. Warp's success
in North America is dependent on the support from larger labels, and
currently there hasn't been any confirmation from anyone.
I know it's a big vague, but I'm only relaying what I know so far.
...and TVT won't be doing Feed Me Weird Things. The person I spoke with
hadn't the slightest clue what I was talking about.
