Sorry, but I think the connection twixt 'drug' and d'n'b is cosmetic at best -- heard it a number of times over the weekend and it sounds like 'phm'-era nin with better production values. The influence is there, but the programming is the same. Anyone who has heard 'ringfinger' knows what I'm talking about. Listen, Alex

You're definitely right... the first time I heard the .ra file of the song back in November, I thought, "Hey, why did Trent leave this track off PHM?" It still reminds me a lot of Ringfinger, and even Head Like A Hole to a certain extent... I don't know why everybody bitches about Trent... personally, I love his music... +-------------------------+-------------------------------------+ | Ryan Visima | richard d james: aphex twin | | rvisima@astral.magic.ca | http://www.magic.ca/~rvisima/aphex/ | +-------------------------+----------------+--------------------+ | nine inch nails: the art of self destruction |Performa 6320CD | | http://www.magic.ca/~rvisima/nin/ |48MB/1.2GB/4xCD | +----------------------------------------------+----------------+
