Well, just had another record buying weekend....took a trip into London (to HMV Megastore, Sister Rays, Selectadisc and Ambient Soho, where I saw someone rather famous...more on that later) This is what I bought this weekend: Urmur Bile Trax volumes 1 and 2 Empathy Box remixes from the album by Kinesthesia Envane and Envane remixes Boards of Canada Paroles - Mike Ink Galaxy 2 Galaxy - Underground Resistance Red Planet 7 Bedroom - Daniel Pemberton Shades of Orion 3 - Namlook Well, looks like I've got a few hours of listening ahead of me. Anyway, onto the interesting bit...I walked into Ambient Soho and picked a few records off the racks and took them to the counter to purchase them, but who happened to be 2 feet away from me? None other than Mr Mike P of U-ziq, listening to some tunes that the guy behind the counter was playing him. It totally freaked me out when I saw him, and in a classic case of lack of confidence, I totally failed to say anything to him...I just bought my records and walked out as if Mike Paradinas wasn't standing there at all. Oh well...so, no scoop for you guys then, sorry. Bye -- Ben Coffer Hybrid Productions

Um? I dunno...I just walked in the record store and bought 'em...I know nothing. :) Why would they be promos? are the 12s not out yet then? Anyway, they had remix written on a sticky label on one of them, but yeah you could be right, four different tracks, not remixes. Hell, you must be right, you work for Warp :) Are they *really* promos? Cool...shame i'm not DJing at the moment. - Ben -- Ben Coffer Hybrid Productions

Could've asked him to sign your copies of Urmur Bile Trax and Empathy Box remixes!!!!!!!!! Makes them worth hundreds of dollars more in 75 years time!!!!!! Paul axion@euronet.nl
