Hello, I'm on site in NYC for the month and it was suggested by a colleague to check out the event "return to the source". I'm posing the question here in hopes of finding out what I should expect out of a NYC trance event. Did anyone go to the UK event? In general how do the local festies compare to the happenings in the bay area? any advice appreciated! thanks - j.

Uh? If you mean the UK return to the source, then I go every month, coz it's on once a month in the Fridge in London. Not quite IDM tho is it? Stomping mad trance, friendliest people in a club in london? possibly. -- Ben Coffer Hybrid Productions

Return to the Source is being held at the Roseland ballroom. Past events have proved to be a lot of little kids in big pants, feasts of crack, and unfriendly security. Plus it's Goa. Roseland + Goa = Major Buzzkill
