Hello? I didn't realise I was so invisible. A few months ago there was a discussion about women electronic artists, of which I am one. I would have to say that one of the reasons I pretty much "lurk" on this list is that I'm here to exchange information about new and old music: what just came out, what to buy, who does what, where to get it, etc. And the added benefit of meeting some nice people who I exchange email with. I'm not interested in all this constant bickering, particularly the current war over the results of the 1996 poll. Frankly, calling someone names because he doesn't agree with your taste in music is just obnoxious. Pages and pages of egotistical ranting is not interesting, nor informative. And it's worse than ever. It's also a symptom of what our society is turning into. But that's a rant I'll keep to myself '-) And now back to the MUSIC, please!
