With Cubase Audio it is very easy to use those AIFF-Samples as drum-samples
together with the sequencer. I used in on an Atari Falcon and in general it
worked fine. But don't expect it to be like a real sampler.
I hope you have once of the new and fast PowerPC Apples, otherwise it might
get difficult. Also you might be able to use the AIFF-drum-samples with the
latest Quicktime as MIDI-instruments. I don't know, how good or bad that
works (if it does).
Depending on how much money you want to spend, there are of course some
other possibilities f.e. from DigiDesign. (if you have that much money you
should consider getting a real 808, that's more fun!)
best wishes and success,
