MAKE THAT DAMN "FIRESTARTER" VIDEO GET OUT OF MY BRAIN!!!! The "song" is godawfulpatheticevilbad and Mr. Prodigy looks like the devilboss in Dilbert. Sorry, but that's the Madonna video of idm. Somebody had to say it, and it sure as hell won't be me. Speaking of Madonna, or rather not speaking, I will also not be the one to say: "Bill Gates is the Madonna of the computer industry." X

I was thinking more along the lines of Bozo on crack....but the Dilbert devil boss works too. I think IDM will survive...just like there is a flourishing alternative (REAL alternative!) underground, real progressive idm will stay underground with the occasional crossover at best. Pop culture is like a big vulture...it feeds off of subcultures, or counter-cultures, stealing ideas, homogenizing them for the lowest common denominator, and churning out the "latest new thing." I like their interpretation of punk (green day) and alternative (7mary3, alanis, ad nauseam) and I am unimpressed. At least Hootie didn't sell well last year...! ::k. np::nicely-away the throttle pedal stop (union jack remix) _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ Chris Escarcega That which does not kill me only serves chrix@wic.net to make me sleep 'til 3:30 the next - voodoo snake loa afternoon. - licensed prophet
