1. Yes, these records are still available. Most of these can be found on
CD. LPs are a little harder to find but they are out there. I have picked
up all of Stan Getz's Bossa records (and quite a few of Jobim's and
Gilberto's) at used record stores in Boston and Cambridge. I also saw the
Black Orpheus LP but I already have it on CD. You have to search a bit and
visit these stores frequently.
2. I haven't mixed these songs with jungle or acid jazz--I just play them
straight up!
