Has anyone else noticed that sections of the violin solos on Automaton's "Jihad: Points of Order" sound remarkably similar to the music from the infamous Star Trek tribble episode? Which brings us to the all-important question: Which Star Trek character would Bill Laswell be? 3 P.S. By the way, this is a beautiful dub record, not to mention the typically fab Strata package design, all-black case with hidden groovy booklet. Lili Haydn's violins soar over Nicky Skopelitis' moody guitars, Tetsu Inoue's spaced-out electronix, Robert Musso's usual atmospherizing, and Bill Laswell's bassbeats and general guru spiritedness. Grab this disc before it becomes impossible to find.
