melodies? his strong part? I have to disagree on that. I find his melodies some times to faithful to his own style althought in DIEGBJ he did create many new gems. However it's the whole thing tahat makes him great; beat, production, funkiness and ofcourse the melodies. Dunno about the DnB, the nearest thing to dnb that I heard from him was neutilus and it was GREAT! look there is nothing skillfull about not having a clue on how to mix a kik drum he simply cannot mix a kik drum right, they are always really clik clakkety and never low enough there's never any tight low end to them(generally),you need a nice tight low end to get you going,no what I mean? Turn up the distortion without any good reason to and there goes your nice firm, tight rounded bottom... ooomph. If it's this you really like you should try doing some tracks because it's really easy and you could save yourself loads of cash and words. melodies? his strong part? I have to disagree on that.. it is why he is called u-ziq surely?not noiz-iq. the nearest thing to dnb that I heard from him was neutilus and it was GREAT! yeah I agree great little melody in that one.something those live ones lacked.

Maybe I haven't listened to Nautilus enough, but I don't consider it that great a track. I prefer those with cute little melodies, such as King of the Beats on DIEGBJ, Hector's House on Bluff Limbo and the funny discoish sounding track on In Pine Effect (was it 3rd or 4th track, don't remember). -- .Mikko
