In the spirit of teenage IDM rebellion, Greg Clow and I have salvaged information from Alan Parry's Clear Records discography on Hyperreal for a new discography. A web site has been discussed, but nothing is definite yet. We'd like to ask the electroheadz on the list to mill over the discography, with a watchful eye directed towards any possible errors. Pointers should be emailed to either Greg or myself. Thanks. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- K E E P T H I S F R E Q U E N C Y C L E A R CLEAR DISCOGRAPHY v0.1 December 11th, 1996 Compiled and maintained by Greg Clow (stained@interlog.com) and Grant Horne (ghhorne@delta.is.tcu.edu) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jedi Knights: MAY THE FUNK BE WITH YOU 12" January 1995 CLRX 406 12" January 1995 CLR 406 Intergalactic Funk Transmission / Jismentalsupersexifunkatasmicthrobalingusaural Delight / Mumpbrainflam / Ruak-Et + Kok-Bah / May The Funk Be With You / Blaff Reader Notes: Intital 1000 copies (CLRX 406) pressed on clear vinyl. The end of side B ("Blaff Reader") runs out to a locked groove. Some promotional copies of this release were issued with the title NODDY HOLDER. This title was later used for a version of the track "Jismentalsupersexifunkatasmicthrobalingusaural Delight" that appeared (along with a version of "May The Funk...") on the Jedi Knights album NEW SCHOOL SCIENCE (Universal Language, 1996). The reason for this release having the catalog number CLR 406 (as opposed to the more obvious CLR 001) is because 406 is the street number of the label's HQ. Jedi Knights are Thomas Middleton and Mark Pritchard (Global Communication). - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Tusken Raiders: BANTHA TRAX 12" February 1995 CLRX 407 12" February 1995 CLR 407 Raider Beetz / Tatooine Sunset / Gaderffi Stick / Sexy Sandpeople / Beatnik #3 Notes: Intital 1000 copies (CLRX 407) pressed on clear vinyl.
