It did. I own a copy. Doesn't sound nearly as good as the vinyl, though.

I want to try something by Luke Vibert and I heard his "Plug 1 & 2" CD was fantastic. I've been searching for it since it was discussed here but I seem to be unable to get it (If you can get it for me, please let me know...). However, the local shop has the album "Phat lab, nightmare". Is that a good album, and is it representative for his famous jungle style? I'd also like to know about the Gescom "Motor 1-4" EP -- how good and how rare it is. While it has a certain amount of Vibert Flava, _Phat Lab. Nightmare_ is a far cry [in term of genre] from Vibert's more recent stuff. Really long, drawn out, cold analog spaciness. Three tracks stand out to me: Aerhaart; From Within, which is a nice, pulsating techno track, Aerhaart; Barrier, which is the only tune really capable of sticking to the label 'trip-hop' [filtered and manipulated drum loops], and Panorak, some totally whacked abstract hip-hop. Again, this sounds very little like LV's current recordings. In fact, in interviews, Vibert dismisses PLN, stating that he did it for Rising High because they thought he was an ambient artist + he needed to pay the bills. In terms of Plug, actively seek the _Drum'n'Bass For Papa_ full length. <PROMOTION> Or try http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Alley/9242/ for more Luke Vibert information. </PROMOTION> .grant.h.horne .http://delta.is.tcu.edu/~ghhorne/ .

I'm not sure that this has ever been released. I remember rumours about them compiling all the plug EPs together onto CD, but I don't think it happened (Maybe it did, I really am not certain). But, there is a Plug-DrumNBass for Papa which I'm listening to right now which is pretty indicative of his D&B style, but not as good as some of his other Jungle outings. Plug 3 -Versatile Crater Funk (or something like that) is pretty good intelligent Plug styled jungle. The Wagon Christ Redone EP has some wicked jungle action on it though, a little harder than the Plug releases.

This is nothing like Plug. In fact, its very little like "typical" <read, most other> Wagon Christ releases at all. This was his first full length under this moniker and is very ambient and sparse, but also one of my favorite Luke Vibert works.

Relatively rare, but not altogther hard to find. I found mine here in the states at a shop in Orlando for 10 bucks or so. Its not much like the other Gescom releases, but if you listen you can tell its them. Very 4/4 style beats w/tweaking and small variations in beat patterns. I haven't listened to it in a while though so I can't give a perfectly clear opinion. Sorry for some vagueness, but I'm only on my second cup of coffee <addiction maybe?!? >
