XL Recordings is a subsiduary of Beggars Banquet (I once got on the Prodigy guest list and they sent me tickets through the post and arrived in an envelope marked Beggars Banquet). If there`s a connection betweent BB and 4AD I`ve certainly never heard of it. Tim On Mon, 18 Nov 1996, Turbo wrote:

Years ago, a young man had a dream . . .anyway Martin Mills / Beggars Banquet supplied Ivo Watts-Russell with the original funding to start 4AD. If you'll notice the UK address is the same for both companies, though they are now, one would assume, financially and legally separate entities.
