Sure... try any of the cool internet mailorder places like Ear Rational, Bent Crayon, etc. I would expect prices anywhere from $12.50 - $14 US for all of the Rather Interesting releases. Also, you could always subscribe to the Atom Heart list where we're always letting each other know where to get AH discs (let me know if you need more info). maharg. .`-). | ; christopher miller o o' evil@digital.net = '

I'll second that recommendation of HAT, it's great .. also, there are two datacide discs, the first one is just called datacide and it is smooth, rolling ambient that is impossible to describe but absolutely perfect .. it's like 'normal' technoy music but slowed down .. hypnotic and unlike anything i've heard before. (though im not a big follower of the ambient scene so maybe there are similar works out there..) the other datacide disc is called ondas and is more similar to hat, poppier fun music, also excellent.. flanger is jazziness, live instrumentation with programming and hijynx mixed in. good stuff too. :) noah --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

just a slight correction: there are THREE Datacide discs: Datacide on POD from about 93 Datacide II on Fax from about 94 Datacide "Ondas" on RI from about 98. i think the first disc you describe is actually "Datacide II" on FAX. the release on POD is really schizo: it goes from almost isolationist-styled ambient to bleeding-ear-acid-distorto-3030 biznezz. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

in addition to the two mentioned below, datacide also have a very nice ambient album on asphodel entitled, "flowerhead." pretty melodies and mellow sounds with various sounds of the outside world weaved in. definitely check it out! zachary zim200@is7.nyu.edu
