I'm trying to ID an (intelli)jungle track I keep hearing here and there -- it features a pretty nice "Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop to look around once in a while you could miss it.." sample. The track is by Chameleon (Global Communication). It's on the 'Logical Progression' cd, a remix is on 'Theory of Evolution', and it's probably on other comps. The sample is from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Kevin

Yes, this is a sample from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," used in "Links" by Chameleon on LTJ Bukem's Logical Progression comp on FFRR, and the Chameleon remix of "Amenity" by Link on the first Artcore comp. -s [OnNow: Namlook - "Spring" (FAX)] ---- ,+'^'+, sage@3Sheep.COM . finger for public key. sasha eysymontt * 93 A3 9C 49 EB E9 0D 0E B5 F6 C3 57 58 D3 12 CE `+,.,+' Sed quis custodiet ipsos custodes? --Juvenal

Who watches the watchmen indeed! You can find this track on a Global Communications/Link/E621/Jedi Knights compilation called "The Theory of Evolution" released last year sometime. It has 2 other (intelli)jungle tracks on it and about 10 other excellent tracks as well. Well worth buying. If you are interested I can get the Label/Catalogue number for you this evening and mail you tomorrow with it. It's Global Communication/Reload/Link/Chameleon/whatever Mark and Tom decided to call themselves this morning. The track is on Artcore 1 on React records. I think it's "The Chameleon" by Link, but it is also very simillar to their GLR release. Nadav

The track your looking for it is Link's - Amazon Amenity on the Evolution lable, cat no EV009. The sample you quoted is from the film "Ferris Bewllers Day off" and used to be regularly played down at SPEED. If you can't managed to find an original 12" you can find the camilion mix(the best one anyway) on the LP The Theory of Evolution out on WARP. Chris
