While I agree with "Don't call it shite unless you can do better yourself," nobody here called his stuff "shite". "Repetitive", maybe. And to invoke coprophagic imagery when the infidels dare say one Plaid track is good - if I said one track on "Music for Adverts" is good, that would be different. :-) I wonder if he was bitten by an American as a child. I don't like criticism, either. I have some growing up to do, too. Verdict: mortal. ObContent: Ken Ishii's "Jelly Tones" has that certain something, that je ne sais quoi, that, you know, wholesome goodness. Plinks when it should plink, plonks when it should plonk. NP: The Black Dog "Music for Adverts" (not the worst record ever, nor the best) Mr. Gil gil@l0pht.com No authority is self-justified. Resist. You know, saying any techno release is "repetitive" is a bit obvious in the first place. Of course it's repetitive. That's what trance dance is all about... repetitive beats! DUH! But on the other hand, Ken getting testy about Americans is a bit "naf" as the English would put it. If it weren't for the Americans "getting off they're arses", there wouldn't be jazz, blues, funk, soul, electro, house, techno... at least not as we now know it. So let's stop bitching about all this nonsense and get back to the music!
