Yep, it came out on cd as I have the cd right here. One small correction to
your post above is that the reason it is a compilation, although its the
boys we all love.. is that the tracks were originally released under a
myriad of different names (8 just on this release).

Yeah, it's well worth lossing a finger over but not much more... it's got
some classics like _Q_, _People Livin' Today_ and _Chile of the Bass
Generation_ on it, but it's sounds a little dated in places. Whereas i'm
currently listening to Carl Craig's "Elements 89-90" and a lot of the
tracks on that still sound fresh today.
Still i'm not going to sell my copy of "Earthbeat", and i'm glad enough
that I was old enough and wise enough back then to be into this great
music back then. :)

Yeah, I agree wholeheartedly that "Tango 'n' Vectif" is Mike P's best work
(that I own or have heard), bought it when it first came out and i'm still
waiting for him to equal its brilliance.
Getting back to Carl Craig he's tracks have the essential ingredients that
make them timeless classics... 'funk' & 'soul'. Unfortunately a lot of
artists today forget these important elements.

John
