-can we keep this ebay shit to a minimum, if I want to know whats selling ill go type what i want in the fucking search line. note: if i were new to the list i would swear it was sponsored by ebay.(and the forced exposure defamation league) -would it be possible to cut down on the responses with less than 8 words? this is a mailing list, not a chat room.(i cant wait to see all the witty fellas respond with 2 words to this email) -in that line of thought, is it possible to tone down the ignorance a bit? Possibly do some research before speaking and flooding 1200+(though thats questionable) peoples email boxes with your stupidity. -and a final note that the great thing about this list has always been the possibility that in the 100+ emails you received in a day, a few of them usually contained a nifty little tidbit of "idm" information that brightened your day or made you that much better of a trainspotter. What happend to that? The only word to describe todays content is DRIVEL. Your lucky if you get 2-3 peices of useful email in a week.....but i digress.. np: Elements of Noise - Venting Anger (Fuze) btw: mike paradinas "sucks" now, he would be classified as "mtv's new wave amp music", and any of you clinging on to the last dangling fragments of the genius of lunatic harness need to wake up. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I thought it was cool at first but then I learned that some of the stuff being auctioned was still in print! What do they think we are stupid!?

Don't you think that is a rather sophisticated concept to ask of everyone? I mean just because it's called intelligent DM (hmmm very simmilar to Robutussin DM...yummy), doesn't mean everything needs to be ready to print in Harpers.

This is the exact same way I felt no less than one month ago. It does seem that content is getting watered down, but it is perfectaly natural for a list to wax and wane.

It is a sad day but I guess they all cross over sometime. I can remember the first time I listened to In Pine Effect back in 95. Does that make it old skool? bye bye, Lee Azzarello --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I see what you are getting at but just because something is "in print" doesn't preclude it from being auctioned. Probably 50% or more of the stuff being sold on Ebay are items that can be bought new in stores. The point of an auction is to get the highest price you can on an item no matter how common or how rare. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
