For those of you wondering about this illbient thing, Asphodel wil be
releasing an illbient compilation at the end of October. 'Incursions in
Illbient' will be on CD and Vinyl. 'Incursions in Illbient' illustrates
the underground urban ambient subculture of New York City. Four main
practitioners of this constantly evolving scene are included: DJ SPOOKY,
SUBDUB, BYZAR and WE (featuring DJ Olive and Lloop). Each contingent
contributes almost twenty minutes apiece for a maximum length opus impact.
These unreleased studio sessions probe the dubbed out depths of a post
crooklyn bughouse in downtown Manhattan. Here's the track listing:
