What Sterac remixes? I just picked up Secret Life of Machines _gasp_. I absolutely love it. The only other Sterac thing I'd before was a track on one of the R&S In Order To Dance comps (5 me thinks). He fits right in between Dave Angel and Kirk DeGiorgio. On the KDG tip, The Message In Herbies Shirts is FANTASTIC!!! If there is a must DeGiorgio release it is this one. My favorite previously was Reflections but this is really a sweet release. It's a smooth bit of experimentation between washy synth ambient tracks to groovin' house to even an ambient/jungle type track (which is actually my least favorite). This is one of those records that makes you forget where you are headed when listening to it over the car stereo because you start dreaming you're in a fog filled basement with black lights and a strobe. BTW I found these records in LA along with about $300 worth of very excellent others but alas I could only barely afford these. My point? YOU FUCKERS IN LA HAVE NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT!!!! Are you *sure*? I know there's no Rachmad on _IOTD 5_. Perhaps you mean an earlier one? - Matthew
