Okay, it's about time people knew the truth. Tom Jenkinson is just a
bass playing jazz musician whom the Rephlex boys met in a pub (there's
some truth to the bio on "Feed me weird things") about a year ago. Richard
and Tom devised a plan to flood the stores with releases, and create a mass
spread of hype about the alleged talent of this so-called Tom Jenkinson,
a classically trained bass player who has never touched a 303 let alone
sequenced all those wicked breaks. The truth is, Squarepusher is simply
a collaboration between Tom and Rich...with Rich doing all the machine
music, while Tom occationally jams on bass to a few tracks. This easily
explains why Rich has been out of the scene for a bit.
Ya, right.

(Originally I'd intended to leave that out, but i know there's somebody
out there who might actually believe I'm serious, and give me hell. I've
got a bit of a sense of humour tonight though...and come on, the theory
sort of works!)
