Count me in as a third! Looks as though theirs a bit of hope in the UVic csc department. :) I would definatley suggest dropping some Autechre into a good techno set... I find they're some of my favorite records to dj with. The way their beats seem to go everywhere BUT on the 1/4 note is great when mixed with a standard 4/4 fare, the beats jsut seem to wrap themselves around one another...(fav. autechre mix: 3mb w/Jaun Atkins "Die Kosmischien kurie" to Autechre's "Crystal" on AI1...sends shivers down me spine...) Re: RDJ

YESYESYESYESYES!!! BLEW MY MIND!!! I deffinatley knew taking the trip down to San Fran was a good idea when I saw the poster for this... The thing I find about a good idm artist is the way that they seem to have mastered the ability to use our favorite silver boxes to translate their thoughts directley into sound, giving us what I think can be a window into their soul...If that's the case then after seeing the NASA tour I think that RDJ needs a bit of help :) (though I hope he doesn't get any...hmmm lithium inspired idm????) Yup, that night was mad, Vapourspace rocked too...

Hey, we were at that one too...Circulating a fair amount of fine BC bud to everyones enjoyment...Thought the boat was sinking when I smelled smoke from the burning amp...thought to myself, "Wow, a better bunch of people to sink a boat with could not be had..." Great show...
