this cd jumps all over the place from the rock to dance spectrum. it has 1 track remixed by john mcintire from tortoise. i would not call it trance or ambient though at all. their upcoming album and their most recent vinyl releases/re-releases are all essential to people who enjoy stuff like the new red snapper ep. when a friend asked me what UI sounded like, i could only respond : "they are the missing link between liquid liquid and tortoise." david *+* on now:beasties-in sound
