I'm sorry for again writing about this, But::
I'm Starting a new label Dedicated to Electronic music,
I've got the plan and a little bit of funding. I have
previously sent out messages that i've been told were badly
constructed, So This is a message to ask for people to
submit Demos for the first release a Compilation CD. This
goes out to Unknown Usigned and Established artists. The
money will only be a share of the royalties and will be
divided equally, The CD will be limited so there won't be
much money, but all the artists will get as much as
affordable. Already I've got some sparkling tracks but i
need more.
I'm not trying to Rip anyone off, and everything will be
contractually done. If you want to copyright stuff before
you send it to me then it will protect yourself from rip off
merchants but I work in a frame work that means I listen to
all the stuff that is sent (primarily on Tape/CD or Vinyl)
and then arange with the chosen artists contracts before
handing over DATS and Final copies so I'm not the sort of
person rip you off. If you just Send me a tape or Record of
your stuff then the quality won't be high enough to properly
release anyway.
The...I'm not a businessman Bit, I'm not actually, i'm
currently working as a researcher...Obviously a record label
is a business but I don't want to corrupt innocent artists
into a void of money for the sake of
money mobile-phone/armani suited Businessmen. A label that
Cares together, Shares Together. I like music...I really
like music, I'm open minded and I'm willing to give people a
chance. I hope people are willing to give me a chance and
are equally likeminded about my apauling non-business like
habits.
(I get bored of saying 'I'm not a businessman I'm music Fan'
but it's true).
