His label, Cheap, does. It's printed on the (now apparently controversial thanks to Tresor) Robert Hood _Nighttime World_ record. Anyone have that handy? from Andrew Chuter's "closet IDM" list:
quoted 5 lines Kraftwerk - The Model, Neon Lights, Pocket Calculator> Kraftwerk - The Model, Neon Lights, Pocket Calculator > Donna Summer/Georgio Moroder - I Feel Love > Georgio Moroder - The Chase > Art of Noise - Moments in Love > New Order - Blue Monday
Hey, no need to be ashamed of any of these! They've all been exhaustively namechecked by many of your favorite IDM artists as influential classics...

Hmmm, I think I'd nominate "Frequency 7" (which 69 sampled for "Frequency Finale" on _4 Jazz Funk Classics_) as da shit.

..or better yet, listen to PE... Derek said:

Haven't heard this one yet, but Gigi Galaxy's stuff is always fun and goofy. He tends to repeat himself a bit, but at his best he puts out things that sound like absolutely no one else -- "Voyage To Lemuria", "Bim Bom", etc. I was never a huge tribal fan, but his stuff is always off-kilter/idiosyncratic enough to work on a couple of levels at once. -- dave walker, detroit art services _ marmoset@conch.aa.msen.com born freeke Dave Walker

Give it time - I didn't rate it much at first (probably because I was expecting more of those Pulsinger/Tunakan jazzed-up disco samples) but give it a few listens and it should work it's way into your consciousness. A crap word is 'intense' but it's one that applies pretty well to this LP - Pulsinger has his own brand of focused disfunctional minimalism, IMO. Ace sleeve too. "Focused disfunctional minimalism" - wow. I need to get out more. || [CiM] || s.walley@uea.ac.uk || http://www.sys.uea.ac.uk/~u9323899/

It took a month of random listening and, hey - It's a funky trancer. reminds me a bit of an Harthouse Ongaku #3 boy who got infected with the groove. and yes, It's quite intense. snow

To my knowledge he's recorded under the names Gigi Galaxy, Technotika, and Lemuria. All of this stuff is on Submerge, I believe. Probably the easiest way to find it is to contact Somewhere In Detroit (submerge@msen.com). -- dave walker, detroit art services _ marmoset@conch.aa.msen.com born freeke Dave Walker
