Some Plastic Head catalogue had this to say about Boxblaze and his/their/whatever _Minimum Effective Frequency Vol. 2_ on Kromode: "Sounds like Aphex Twin, in fact it sounds so much like him that he put it in his chart" Anyone heard it? Heard and seen! :) (Tang orange vinyl!) It's supreme 'blazing boxes' indeed (read: beats n' acid). As twisted as anything you'd encounter on the Universals or say, Polygon Window, which may explain the name check in the review. Of the other 3 Kromodes I've picked up (you already know about the Bochem 12") I find the Mutagenic Mind as noteworthy as an imagined Plastikman vs Florence collaboration. I've got the Kromode name on my hotlist. Teep "I wanna be a Jungalist" (My Wife) "shut up!" (Me as my muffler was falling off on the way to see Goldie)
