a little trainspotter moment for y'all..
track 2 ("an open secret") on the new sound patrol (derrick carter/
chris nazuka) lp (organico) contains a sample of "ain't nobody" by
rufus and chaka khan - spot it if you can..
the whole lp is good to me, on the first couple of listes. i'll write
about it when i get to know it a little better.
producers - check out the "dance classics - the hits" series of comp-
lations on unidisc, canada. these cds have old tracks from everyone -
yarborough and peoples to d-train. much of the now defunct (?) solar
disco label's more popular 12"s are on these discs.
