Info? No. Opinion? Yes. Very, very, very well done. I rekon there's a sample from Erik B. and Rakim's "Chinese Arithmetic" chopped up *almost* beyond recognition ;). Damn, this is a really nice 12". Full review phorthcoming, tp

this is the guys from ambient soho in london. they have a full length on worm interface (their label). both (this ep and the lp) are great. highly recommended.

Freeform is Simon Pyke who looks young enough to be still at school ( and probably is !). The excellent album 'Elastic Speakers' is the second release on Ambient Soho's Worm Interface label. The tracks released through SKAM are a mere taster of the 8 hours or so of stuff he has churned out onto DAT. I asked Rocket at Ambient Soho how the album tracks were selected considering there was so much stuff. Apparently this is supposed to be Freeform's idea of the perfect album. He also appears regularly at the monthly Live Wires events organised by the shop. I reckon all the people drooling over Autechre recently would rate 'Elastic Speakers' very highly as a lot of the ideas are similar but done very much with the freshness of youth.
