Why not?
A while back when I got my first drum machine I tried to add beats to
Glass's work Floe. Floe is from his album Glassworks, and has the same
sort of creshendo and repetition one would find in any sort of
trance/acid track. When I fisrt listen to Glass i thought he was synth,
so his music is not at all classically classical sounding, in fact its
quite innovative. Anyone who can put up with the Aphex Twit's wanking
(oops I mean soundscape exploration, sorry) or any other ambient artist,
would certainly like Glass. For something short and sweet and with
really good tracks I would reccomend Glassworks. It's like UFOrb, it'll
get you hooked on the artist. Speaking of Richard Dull James, I've only
ever heard Ambient Works Volume ??? (the double CD one, the last one) and
I thought it sucked, well there were two tracks I liked, but two tracks
isn't enought to pop for a double CD. So anyone with a reccomendation?
Also people mentioned seeing Aphex Twin in Columbia House thingy, I am
gonna scam Columbia house, but I might as well get something good from
them, anyone know that little number to for the AfX T's album they
offered?
