with customs holding up the flow of UK techno into the east coast, i stopped into a used record store, 'in your ear' records, tucked underground in harvard square. along with the 'tour de france' remixes (how pertinent!) i found something i didn't even know existed. 'only for the headstrong vol. ii' 1992 FFRREEDOM yes, it reaks of rave vocalsampletronics, but it's a 2x12" with this: "The Passage" MODEL 500 <----[take a shower this is THE track!] and this: the horn track and lock up and mark pritchard and some wankey richard james track.
