If you drive Interstate 80 through Wyoming, I swear the hills they use on the 'Amber' cover art are there to the south of the highway, about 100 miles from the Utah Border. You know, I was noticing that a couple of weeks ago when I was looking at the cover, and a topographical map of that same area, but I quickly dismissed it. How could the Designers Republic(or whoever else designed the cover) captured the area so precisely, when they're almost 10,000 miles away? Sooozzz... Derek Jordan

I think someone said a while back that the photo was in fact from the United States.
