"Sad But True" which gets distorted and some sort of weird Chinese opera singer voice dropped on it. I think reviewers were unnecessarily cruel to this movie. I thought it was a blast, but your average doughy white guy reviewer hasn't read Gibson, and doesn't get the whole punk rock/Survival Research Labs tip that it operates on. -- [Kent Williams/CADSI/2651 Crosspark Rd/Coralville IA 52241] kent.williams@cadsi.com

Natch, I saw the movie, I've read the author, and I even like Keanu as an actor, but the movie sucked. End of story, and don't make me post a review. I'm glad in the future that music from Orbital is still around tho', hopefully lousy movies will be dead too. HA! This is funny. I hadn't noticed, and was baffled that no techno music was present... guess i didn't pay enough attention to the soundtrack.

Precisely. The movie is very good, and the vr interface to the internet is just so accurate, i am quite surprised by the research that went into making this. VRML is not yet here, but it is definitely the interface of internet in 20 years. The reviews in the papers by your typical 40 something computer haters (but still have a mac cuz it's chic) film reviewers were very harsh (i think because of Keanu reeves - but still the anti technology syndrome is there, you can feel it). However after seeing it, i recommended it to all my friends and all who went to see it, thanked me. I guess we can put the reviewers in the same bag as the producers of the 90210 rave episode... :) :) Ciao, -- Francois Dion (IdMEDIA) [> Email: francois@hyperreal.com <] ' [> C.P. 278, St-Lambert, QC, Canada, J4P 2N8 <] [> Raving Up North Ezine: run-request@hyperreal.com, subject: help <]
