You need to find a better record store; Aron's in Hollywood CA has the vinyl for $20.98, and the CD is $24.98 ... I unfortunately don't know anything more about it, but I would say that the last track on the recent "Re-Load Records - The Compilation" - "Frantic" by Chronos - was taken from a then-forthcoming Chronos album on Reload Ambient. It was quite a nice "taster" track if that's any indication ... The only other thing I know about Psychonauts is that it's Acid Kirk from Psychonautic Experiments 2 with some other geezer whose name I can't recall. Now is this Acid Kirk fellow Richard's evil twin? :-) - Greg

I'd say it's much more likely Kirk DiGiorgio, but probably is no relation to either. C. -- cspot@hyperreal.com (Chris.Hilker) ...electro-spiritual in composition...

outlets to buy my stuff... I am not sure what The Orbs' new album ORBVS TERRARVM is going for, but my shop wants 31.99 for it! I know this can't be right...(say it isn't so!) Derek Jordan

Aron's is on Highland Ave. in Hollywood. Duno if they do mail order, but they usually have both the best idm/ambient selection in LA and the cheapest vinyl prices. (12" imports are $7.28) However, the Orb album is $29 there. The cheapest I've seen Orbus Terrarum is $23 at Rasputin's in Berkeley. It's definately not worth $29. I need to listen some more to decide if it's worth $23.
