Geez, how coincidental that we should be getting on the thread of 'normal' peoples reactions to what we all know an love (ie:FSOL as rap, etc.) I just read a review of 'MUSIK' in the latest HOUR magazine (an 'alternative' weekly paper here). It's good to see that these record reviewers are on their toes, keeping up with things hot off the shelf and doing thier homework. "Hawtin is a hardcore acid/techno DJ...Musik is a mediocre album of housey tracks that, with only a couple of exceptions, sound like they were designed as the filler used between two tricky mixes" Whatever. It's just funny seeing the token 'techno' album remixed in this along side the usual retro-punk/gloomrock/grunge stuff. HA HA HA. Hey if there's a difference between 'acid' and 'techno' could someone enlighten me... Ecto
