Well with the passage of GATT does this mean that import CD prices will drop for us in the states? Man that would make me piss out my ears in happiness. I could have twice the IDM and not suffer financially. --,__ (mRay) z943159@corn.cso.niu.edu

I'd be pretty surprised if it did. Some of the shops around here are already charging less for UK CDs than they cost to buy them at retail in the UK. -- ::: Lazlo (lazlo@rt66.com) ::: Use the Internet Music Wantlists to find rare records and CDs. ::: Email wantlists@rt66.com with HELP on a line by itself in the message.

Really? Most of the new imports from the UK are going for close to $35 around here and singles have shot from $8.99 to around $15. The prices have gotten quite out of hand (i.e. System 7 - Fire $32.85). But...I guess in central Illinois you kind of take what you can get. It's one of the reasons I have started to use Ear-Rational on a monthly basis. MC _____________________________________________________________________ | Mark B. I've seen the $35 price tag. Kind of ridiculous.
