Let me preface by saying that it's not IDM at all, so sue me...
but it's _very_ good. It's not an album, it's what KC call a "calling
card" for the new "double trio" lineup in the liner notes -- 6 tracks, 31
minutes (I think). As a point of reference, it sounds a lot more like
_Red_ than, say, _Discipline_ or _Beat_ -- sometimes harsh, maybe even
bombastic, but always, always interesting.
An intriguing little bit printed on the sleeve reads as follows:
The phonographic copyright in these performances is operated
by Discipline (GM) Records on behalf of the artists, with
whom it resides. Discipline accepts no reason for artists
to give away such copyright interests in their work by
virtue of a "common practice" which is out of tune with the
time, was always questionable and is now indefensible.
So there.
