Does anyone know what Gerald Simpson/A Guy Called Gerald has been up to lately? What is his most recent release. The last I had heard anything about him was a coupla years ago when I heard he was finishing up his 3rd album. I've been looking for a discog of him at various ftp sites, but haven't found anything. If anyone could hel, that would be great. chris

Chris, I last heard him doing "Satisfaction" on the Panic in Detroit record on Buzz. All I can say is "ugh" to that track. Sorry. -morgan geist

The last thing I know about was an LP called "28 Gun Bad Boy". I saw it in a shop in Cambridge (UK) but they wouldn't play it as there was only vinyl, not CD, so I didn't buy it. I have subsequently seen it listed somewhere as an "essential" jungle purchase. J ^

A Guy called Gerald has been making really dope tunes on Juice Box records. I think his last record came out about 2 months ago. They are mostly hardcore breakbeat..really cool shit. lots of bizarre samples..and pretty edgey. --daniel.

As far as I know, the newest thing A Guy Called Gerald did was a 12" on JuiceBox records, came out about a month or more ago... The track is called "Finley's Rainbow" and it's on Juicebox Records.. A light, happy, fast breakbeat record..not your average breaks record though..quite interesting and "bubbly"... -Dylan.
