I finally got a chance to listen to the Drum Club album Drums are Dangerous
and I quite liked it. The vocals work very well in my opinion. They're
rather endearing and cute, and the music is excellent.
I also heard the new Love and Rockets, This Heaven. Several of the mixes
are quite good, very IDM, though the original sounds pretty much like other
Love and Rockets songs IMO (I do in general like L&R, but I'm in IDM-mode).
The new Space Time Continuum, Sea Biscuit and FFWD win the awards for cool
newish ambient albums.
I hope to get the new Sun Electric one of these days...
