Speaking of recording artists on the net, I'd be really interested to give mention of most of you in an article I'm writing for a rave-zine here in Houston. "X-ray" is a half-size (8.5 x 5.5) and runs several hundred copies & is FREE. The article I'm writing is on rave-related items on the net, which I take the word "rave" to mean a WIDE range of things: THE MUSIC (ambient, 'idm', trance, breaks, gabber, techno, house, acid, ... miss anything?), THE ARTISTS (e.g., Moby, B12, UVC, HMD & P:909, Dr.N! (Ben, our RePhLeX info, and Tom's (of Reload) brother (right?)), maybe even a blurb on technopop like 68000 and InSoc. PLEASE FILL ME IN WITH OTHERS!), THE PEOPLE (vrave, email lists, alt.rave), THE EVENTS (regional rave email lists), THE INFO (FTP sites with text of ALL sorts, audio samples, digital images), and other stuff like CD/Vinyl connections, labels on the net, etc...I'm still brainstorming! :) So, if you'd like to please help me out with filling an article full of goodies, please send me a *small* bio on you & your music, or your band and your band's music. I'll just be mentioning band names and members, and possibly where they're from. Thank you! -djkc
